Built by hand in the time honored tradition reflecting the abundant attention to detail, such as pegged through mortis and tennon joinery on doors that are inset. Real bead board is used for the back, not just a piece of plywood. The convenient display shelf has a plate groove, while the shelves in the upper as well as the lower sections are adjustable. The drawer is crafted with dovetails for strength and placed on modern, quiet, drawer guides. Construction details even include the use of forged square cut nails. The punched panels are available in Tin, Rusted Steel or even Copper with hinges to match. This Pie Safe Hutch looks great in may woods like Maple, Alder, Spanish Cedar, Cherry, Walnut, or Pine as shown.
