Just like the Oceanside pier this art table is a one of a kind. Inspired by the theme of this years Design in Wood competition “Ride the tide to fun”. The tapered wave is covered with a beautiful fiddle back maple veneer and dyed a sea foam green, perched atop the cresting wave a symbolic surf board is crafted from a stunning piece of figured Maple, brightly colored to enhance the depth of its grain. And just like a real surf board there are skags to hold it on its course, but these are carved from Purple Heart, the only wood in the world that is naturally purple.

Overall size 24 ½”tall, 30” long and 71/4” wide at the base.
